AROUND ROSEDALE

Rosedale the heart of the North York Moors National ParK

Did you know Rosedale  spent  seventy years between the 1850s and 1920s as a bustling, sooty and noisy hive of industrial activity, home to nearly 5,000 miners?

Now it’s home to a lively, diverse and expanding community set in the heart of some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery.

Rosedale Abbey is almost smack bang in the middle of the North York Moors National Park, with easy access to Pickering, and Scarborough and Whitby on the East Coast.
