The 'Brown' family has lived and work here at Grange Farm for 32 years. The farm has a herd of pedigree Belted Galloways and is also home to Grange Farm Timber Ltd.

We do ask that children are supervised at all times and STRICTLY no admittance on to the horse yard, paddocks and timber yard. We do politely ask you not to approach us if we are handling the horses.

We welcome your well behaved dogs but do ask they don’t not go upstairs or on the furniture. They must be kept on a lead, however there is a paddock in front of the cottage where if there is no livestock present you may let you dogs off the lead to swim in the pond or have a leg stretch, please be aware of wildlife that also live in this area. Please always drive slowly.

The village is easily accessible on the public footpath that leads of the corner of the drive and is a comfortable five minutes walk into the village.

We have two pubs in the village, The Coach and Horses (www.coachandhorsesinn.co.uk) and The Whitehorse Farm Hotel (www.whitehorserosedale.co.uk). Please check opening times.

'Abbey Stores' supplies news papers and 'Graze on the Green' for wonderful homebaking and their excellent tea room(www.grazeonthegreen.co.uk).

For supermarkets, petrol, takeaways and cash machines you will find in either Pickering (7 miles ) or Kirkbymoorside (6 miles).

Hot tub - Please note how to open the lid. If you do this wrong this can end up being broken

Please unclip one side of the lid, fold the lid back in half and then fold it again and it will sit upright behind the hot tub.

Please do not move the bar over the top of the cover at anytime.

If you do the lid will fall of the hot tub.

There are two buttons on the hot tub. Press the jet button to turn the jets on, they run for 20 minutes. There is also a button for the light if using the hot tub at night.

Please note we carry out daily checks, this is carried out to make sure the chemicals are at the correct levels.
